One of the major characteristics of Hakata-ori is the world of colors expressed through the warp threads. It is also woven with a dedication pattern that has meanings such as protection from evil spirits and prosperity of descendants, which are based on motifs of Buddhist utensils. Please bring something you treasure, such as a shrine amulet, or something with a motto written on it.

*Silk thread is a delicate material, so it is susceptible to friction. You can use it for a long time depending on how you handle it.
